Kita

Today is Kita's day. She was abandoned here by my husbands brother, who got her from the SPCA in Edmonton and she is one amazing dog. We have 13 dogs inside our trailer ( all the small guys, and a few low energy giants) and 7 outside dogs. Kita is one of the outside dogs. I have 1 giant kennel (like a large back yard) for my two outside Newfs, Gunther and Mary Jane, that we built 2 years ago, and a kennel that came with the property, with three connected kennels, beside my vegetable garden. The outside guys get at least an hour a day out of their kennels in spring summer and fall, winter they only come out under supervision, even for them it gets really cold, and they prefer their heated doghouses...

Kita is a beautiful calico like marked Shepard Cross, she can climb fences, jump at least 5 feet from a stand, and has made life exciting to say the least. Her Kennel is 6 feet high, and she can climb it EASY! we actually had to put a plywood ridge all around the inside, so she can be contained when needed! She is so loving and smart, you just shake your head...

When she was living in a home, she was extremely well behaved, she still is, perfectly housetrained, her color is so cool, but it really is the inside that counts
